Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Borangi (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit www.borangi.comor contact us. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• Details you give us — name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name and location, when you subscribe, join a programme, run our growth diagnostic or contact us.
• Diagnostic answers — your responses about your business, used to prepare your results and our follow-up.
• Usage data — pages visited, device, browser, approximate location and referral source, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and deliver the resource or service you asked for.
• To send you our newsletter, insights or programme updates by email or WhatsApp, where you have agreed to receive them.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand website usage, and the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads. These services may set cookies and process usage data on our behalf. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.

Where your data is stored

Form submissions are stored in Google Workspace tools (Google Forms and Google Sheets). Our website is hosted on Vercel. These providers may process data outside India under their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purpose you gave it for, or until you ask us to delete it — unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
• withdraw consent at any time — including unsubscribing from emails using the link in every email, or replying STOP on WhatsApp;
• raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India;
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
