What a Digital Marketing Agency in Bangalore Actually Charges (2026)

Almost no agency in Bangalore publishes a price. Here is our full rate card, the maths behind percentage-of-spend fees, and what the monthly bill looks like once GST and ad spend land.

Praveen Pyati · Founder, Borangi

Search for a digital marketing agency in Bangalore and you will find hundreds of them. Almost none publish a price. You fill in a form, sit through a call, and get a proposal built around what the agency thinks you will pay, not around what the work costs.

We think that is backwards. Below is our own rate card, line by line, the maths behind percentage-of-spend fees, and the full monthly bill once GST and ad spend are added. Use it to judge any agency's quote, including ours.

₹10,500/mo

What the monthly bill actually looks like

The fee on a proposal is rarely what leaves your bank account. Here is a common setup for a Bangalore clinic, studio or service business: local SEO plus Meta ads, with ₹30,000 a month of ad spend.

LineAmountNotes
Local SEO + Google Business Profile₹10,500Founding price
Meta ads management₹13,000Flat fee, because spend is under ₹1 lakh
18% GST on agency fees₹4,230On ₹23,500 of fees
Ad spend paid to Meta₹30,000Our recommended minimum to get usable data
18% GST on ad spend₹5,400Added by the platform on Indian billing accounts. Check your invoice
Total per month₹63,130Of which ₹35,400 goes to Meta, not the agency

// THE NUMBER TO WATCH

More than half of that bill is media. Which is why the most important question for any agency is not its fee but what it does with your spend: how it tracks leads, how often it kills losing ads, and what it will report as a cost per enquiry.

Flat fee vs percentage of ad spend

Many agencies charge a percentage of your ad spend instead of a flat fee. We charge ₹13,000 a month per platform or 13% of spend, whichever is higher. The two meet at exactly ₹1,00,000 of monthly spend:

Monthly ad spend13% of spendWhat you pay us
₹30,000₹3,900₹13,000 (flat fee applies)
₹60,000₹7,800₹13,000 (flat fee applies)
₹1,00,000₹13,000₹13,000 (break-even)
₹2,50,000₹32,500₹32,500 (percentage applies)

Below ₹1 lakh, a pure percentage model looks cheap but rarely pays for the hours that good ads need: creative tests, audience pruning, tracking fixes. Above it, the work scales with the budget, so the fee does too. If an agency quotes a percentage on a small budget, ask how many hours a week that buys.

What different budgets realistically get you

Around ₹15,000 a month in fees

One channel, done properly. For most local businesses that should be Google Business Profile and local SEO, because people searching “near me” are already looking to buy. If you have no website yet, the Growth Starter bundle covers the site and the monthly work together.

Around ₹25,000–₹35,000 a month in fees

Local SEO plus one paid platform. Meta suits visual, impulse or local offers (salons, studios, food, events). Google Search suits urgent or high-intent needs (repairs, legal, clinics, B2B services). Picking one and running it well beats running both badly.

₹60,000 a month and up

Full-funnel: content SEO, Google and Meta together, and social media to keep the brand visible. At this level you should expect weekly reporting on leads and cost per lead, not monthly screenshots of reach.

Costs that are usually missing from the quote

  • GST. 18% on the fee, and on the ad spend itself.
  • A website that converts. Ads pointed at a slow or confusing site waste money. Our website cost guide explains what a good one costs in India.
  • Shoots and creative. Reels and ads need footage. Ask whether the retainer includes shooting or only editing what you send.
  • Tools. WhatsApp Business API, CRM and scheduling tools often carry their own monthly fees.
  • Lock-ins. Three months is reasonable to judge SEO and ads. Twelve months upfront, before any results, is not.

How to compare digital marketing agencies in Bangalore

Ask every agency on your shortlist the same six questions:

  • Whose name are the accounts in? Your Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Business Profile and domain must be yours.
  • What will you report weekly? Leads, calls, WhatsApp enquiries and cost per lead. Likes and impressions are not results.
  • Can I see live work? A website you can visit or a profile you can find on Maps tells you more than a slide deck.
  • Who does the work? The person on the sales call, or a junior you will never meet?
  • What happens if it does not work? Notice period, exit terms and handover of everything built.
  • Is the price written down? If it changes depending on who asks, the quote is a negotiation, not a price.

// RED FLAGS

Guaranteed #1 rankings. “Results in 7 days” for SEO. Ad accounts created in the agency's name. Reports that never mention leads. A fee that drops by half the moment you hesitate.

How much does a digital marketing agency in Bangalore charge per month?+

It depends on the channels. At Borangi, local SEO with Google Business Profile is ₹10,500 a month, Google or Meta ads management is ₹13,000 a month per platform, SEO growth is ₹22,000 and social media is ₹17,500 (founding prices till 31 December 2026, plus 18% GST). Ad spend is paid separately to the platforms.

Is ad spend included in the agency fee?+

It should not be. Ad spend should be paid directly from your own Google Ads or Meta account, so you can see exactly what was spent. The agency fee covers setup, creative, optimisation and reporting.

Is a percentage of ad spend or a flat fee better?+

A flat fee is usually better on small budgets because it pays for the hours good ads need. Borangi charges ₹13,000 a month per platform or 13% of spend, whichever is higher, so the two meet at ₹1,00,000 of monthly ad spend.

How much should a small business spend on ads in Bangalore?+

We recommend at least ₹30,000 a month per platform. Below that, campaigns rarely gather enough data to show which ads and audiences actually bring leads.

How long before digital marketing shows results?+

Ads can bring enquiries within the first weeks once tracking is right. Local SEO usually needs two to three months to move Maps rankings, and content SEO longer. That is why a three-month minimum is reasonable, and a twelve-month lock-in before any results is not.
